The Art and Spirit of Veiling

People, especially women, choose to veil for many different reasons. These choices are shaped not only by personal beliefs and experiences, but also by the cultural, geographic, social, and political contexts in which they live.

In this workshop, we explore the spiritual, physical, and archetypal dimensions of veiling as experienced across diverse cultures. Through a blend of contemplative reflection and action-oriented practice, participants engage with religious, literary, and historical perspectives on veiling while considering how these themes resonate in our own lives and spiritual journeys. The session concludes with a creative art activity that invites participants to express their insights and personal reflections.
